A wealthy donor discovered The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside on The Big Give. He donated £175,000 to launch Trailblazers, a new initiative to train young people in preserving their local environment.

The donor, who had not heard of charity before reading about them on The Big Give, has also offered his business expertise to help the Trust develop their work in the region and continues to give donations to the organisation.
