Sir Alec Reed, Founder of the Big Give and Chairman of the Reed Foundation
Sir Alec Reed launched theBigGive.org.uk in October 2007 and still plays a large part in the running of the organisation. A generous philanthropist and entrepreneur, Sir Alec previously founded the Reed Foundation which funds the Big Give, making it free to all users. Sir Alec is also the Founder of Reed Specialist Recruitment, one of the largest recruitment solution providers in the country with over 400 branches and reed.co.uk, Europe’s largest commercial job website.

Reed Foundation
Reed Foundation is the charitable arm of Reed Specialist Recruitment and distributes all of its funds through the Big Give Christmas Challenges. The Foundation also funds the day to day running of the Big Give, which makes it free for both charities and donors to use.
